This DBL show features a Ramadan set by Senyawa, and a live set by Ambulance vs Ambulance. Indonesian duo Senyawa creates some of the most exciting experimental music, pairing the extreme vocal techniques of Rully Shabara with the intense virtuosity of Wukir Suryardi; fusing hardcore metal, with Javanese village ritual. Ambulance vs Ambulance is the creative destination of Jeffrey Lee Hearse (Bokeh Versions) and Robin Stewart (TTT, No Corner). Armed with dusty lamentations and a dedication to a ritualised gothic future beat of shoegaze bluegrass, their ‘first release Industrial Country’ was assembled from a scrapheap of phone recordings processed into scowls.In this live set, they work, power chords, link cables into a magical punk rock performance featuring tracks from their album.
